Joshua Butler lives, creates, and teaches in Grand Junction, Colorado. He earned a BFA degree in 1999 and an MFA degree in 2002 in Printmaking. Both degrees are from Colorado State University where he studied with Jack Orman, Jim Dormer, and Stephen Simons. Currently, Joshua is an Associate Professor of Art at Colorado Mesa University where he teaches printmaking and drawing. His artwork questions the relationship between identity and experiences with Nature. His prints and drawings have been exhibited nationally.
